Executive Biographies

Daniel Glunt
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Fort Point Insurance Services, Inc. was founded by Daniel Glunt in 2003. Mr. Glunt started his insurance career with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in 1993. Mr. Glunt spent seven years with Chubb in five different offices where he served as an underwriter, marketing representative and regional manager. From 1999 to 2002 Mr. Glunt was a Vice President for InsWeb Corporation, a leading online insurance provider. Mr. Glunt is the principal shareholder of Fort Point Insurance. Additionally, Mr. Glunt serves as a board member for the San Francisco non-profit organization, Family House. Mr. Glunt lives in San Francisco with his wife, Kristin, and two daughters, Madeleine and Grace.

Pamela Cantieri
Senior Vice President - Personal Risk Management

Ms. Cantieri began her insurance career in 1977 working for a small, independent insurance brokerage firm in San Rafael , CA . In 1979, Ms. Cantieri joined Albert M. Bender Company, a leading insurance brokerage in San Francisco. Through a series of company acquisitions and promotions, Ms. Cantieri was promoted to personal insurance department manager in 1986. From 1986 to 2006, Ms. Cantieri was the department manager and Vice President of Personal Risk Management for Wells Fargo Acordia Insurance Services. In this capacity Ms. Cantieri worked exclusively with affluent individuals and families serving their unique personal insurance needs for over 20 years.

Tiffany Kippels
Assistant Vice President

Ms. Tiffany Kippels is a second-generation insurance professional. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia she graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance. Since 2003, Ms. Kippels worked with a national property and casualty insurance company serving as a policy analyst, customer service representative and sales agent. Ms. Kippels joined Fort Point Insurance in 2006 and focuses her efforts on new business development.

Randall Schneider
Assistant Vice President

Mr. Schneider began his insurance career at Selective Insurance, in Baltimore Maryland, after Graduating from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in 1995. At Selective, he served as an Underwriter, and as a Business Systems Analyst. In 1999, Mr. Schneider joined the Chubb Group of Insurance companies, in Boston, Massachusetts, where he spent eleven years as an E-business Consultant, Marketing Specialist, and most recently, as Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager in charge of Chubb's Personal Lines Operation in Northern California. Mr. Schneider lives in Oakland with his wife, Andrea, and son Cody. He and his wife are avid skiers, travelers, and love to eat foods from around the world.

William Van Ingen
Vice President

Mr. Van Ingen began his insurance career in 2004 at Aon Private Risk Management, specializing in the insurance and risk management needs of successful individuals and families in the Bay Area. In 2006, he established the San Francisco office of Lane McVicker Insurance Services, LLC where he was Vice President and Team Leader until joining Fort Point Insurance Services in 2011. A graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H., he spent the first 15 years of his career in marketing with such firms as Nestle, McCann Erickson and Cadbury Schweppes. A member of the Summer Search North Bay Advisory Board, Mr. Van Ingen resides with his wife and family in Marin County where he coaches various youth soccer and basketball teams.

Patrick C. Connolly, Jr.
Advisor

Mr. Connolly spent fifteen years with the Toyota Motor Corp. in various capacities, serving as an analyst, marketing manager and regional business development manager. Since 2000, Mr. Connolly has provided assistance to new bay area technology firms with financing, sales and marketing initiatives. Mr. Connolly was one of Dan Glunt's first clients and was influential in the launching and financing of Fort Point Insurance Services, Inc. In his capacity as board member and treasurer, Mr. Connolly's leadership, enthusiasm and marketing experience provide a critical component to our organization. Mr. Connolly is a shareholder of the firm.
